The Civil Aviation Flight University of China (CAFUC) is Asia's largest institution for civil aviation education, operating under the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC). Headquartered in Guanghan City, Sichuan Province, the university spans over 1,034 hectares and includes four flight training sub-colleges, five flight training airports, and two air terminals.
CAFUC trains over 8,000 full-time students in fields such as pilot training, air traffic
control, aviation engineering, and air transport management. Its infrastructure includes 166
aircraft, 30 simulators, and comprehensive teaching facilities. Over 50 years, CAFUC has
cultivated more than 10,000 pilots and 5,000 ground professionals for Chinese and
international aviation, earning recognition for its excellence in safety and education.
With 20 undergraduate programs and master’s degrees in fields like Aviation Safety and Air
Traffic Management, CAFUC continues to lead in aviation innovation and professional
development, solidifying its reputation as a global leader in civil aviation education.
